This review is a little late but the service and compassion I was given while there left such a lasting impression that I still remember how I felt after my visit. I came in to VEG on March 6th 2025 because my cat Luna was not herself, was not eating or drinking much and was yowling. I knew something was wrong and my regular vet didn't have any open appointments so I came here. The staff at this location are by far the most kind, caring, knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate Vet and Vet Techs I have ever experienced in my 15+ years of pet ownership. They were very communicative, gave me wonderful advise, answered all of my questions and even guided me in what to do after I left. They kept up with me for 4 days after I left to make sure Luna was getting better and that she was going to stay better I was there for about 4 hours but I knew by the end of my visit I had made the right choice. they are amazing people at an amazing location working for an amazing company. If they were a regular vet I would switch to them in a heartbeat and never look back. I added photos of Luna to show her progress back to her old, cute, adorable self. before her visit and for a couple of weeks after, she could not curl up into a ball, was not very social and would hide away because of the pain. Now, she is he old self and I am more than happy at her progress but also the amazing care we received from VEG. 10/10, 5/5 Stars, would come back without hesitation, would recommend to everyone I know if they had a vet emergency. no one else has earned my trust or respect to this degree. Thank you VEG team, I appreciate everything you did for me and for Luna.

We can’t thank the team at VEG Animal Hospital enough. Everyone there was incredibly kind and compassionate, not just to our puppy Darlene, but to me as well. They were very accommodating, allowing me to stay throughout the days, which meant the world during such a stressful time. The facility was very clean, and every doctor and nurse we interacted with was knowledgeable and caring. They helped Darlene heal and recover from whatever was going on, and their dedication truly made a difficult situation so much more bearable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all the amazing staff who cared for our baby girl. It was a great experience in the midst of a horrible situation.

My poor little baby had to be rushed in this morning as he had been throwing up blood overnight and I didn’t notice until I had woken up to him throwing up. I was wary of going to an emergency vet as they are known for being expensive and pushy about spending money on extravagant treatments. I called and the desk informed me that the exam fee was around the same as my primary vet so I decided to take him in. They treated him with emergent care, they were very careful to keep me informed of the cost of all procedures that were recommended for the course of treatment. The vet suggested the most reasonable course of action that only cost $80 on top of the initial exam fee. This was a relief. They were very kind to me and reassured me that there was nothing shameful about taking the cheapest course of action especially given the low level of severity of the situation. The vet was very kind and so was the vet tech. They had me in and out quickly and my baby is now recovering. They also let me know that if he needed to come back in within 24 hours of his visit, there would not be an addition charge for an exam fee which is very nice. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing emergency vet visits in Dallas.
