I had the horrible misfortune of witnessing an adult raccoon attack a baby raccoon right outside my window. After I scared the adult off with flood lights, I saw the baby was still alive and badly injured. Since it was 1am my options for help were limited - so I called VEG because they were open 24/7 and possibly had wildlife emergency resources they could share with me. Amazingly I found out they partner with the Ohio Wildlife Center and were able to take in the injured baby! I am so grateful for their help since I was totally clueless on what to do and who to contact at such a late hour. When I arrived, the staff were very professional and treated the raccoon with the seriousness of any other domestic pet. I'm so glad I called VEG first thing!

My cat got attacked by a coyote last night. The staff at VEG took her in minutes after I placed the call. They were professional, calm and empathetic, along with patient with my frantic behavior. They saved my little girls life. I will never forget this and owe them so much for caring for her. Thank you guys for making a devastating memory in our lives, another chance of life for Tootsie. Thank you just doesn’t do justice. A coffee maybe?? Haha. You guys are my hero.

Our vet referred us here after our dog was bitten by another dog. We were able to be seen immediately and I am so appreciative of the kindness and empathy we received from everyone on staff - from the folks at the front desk to the techs/vet. Everyone was wonderful with my kids who were upset - letting them see him before we left, explaining what was happening, and giving them snacks. We were leaving a bloody mess in our wake and they eased my anxiety/were able to cheer me up as they cleaned. I also appreciated how transparent they were about cost. If I need emergency care in the future, I would not hesitate to bring my pets here.
