Ashley Gray, DVM

Education:
Graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine

Why Emergency Medicine:
From personal experience, I know how scary the emergency room can be. I like to help people and their pets through crises because I understand how scary the experience can be. I want to be there through the tough stuff and enjoy seeing my sick patients go home to their parents happy and healthy.

Get to know me

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be:
Teleportation because I love traveling!

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working:
I am happiest when I am at a restaurant enjoying great food and wine with my family and friends.

What has been the most rewarding part of your career/position?
The most rewarding part of my job is bonding with clients and their fur babies. I love and value the client-patient relationship. I love the VEG model and how we have an open hospital concept where I can keep people and their pets together. VEG allows me to practice in a way that strengthens this bond further between vet, client, and pet.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is:
Always pursue your dreams no matter how difficult or unattainable they may be. Life is worth following your passions, and things will fall into place along the way if you are open minded.
