Why Emergency Medicine:
I love coming to work and never knowing what the day might hold! The variety of cases always keeps me on my toes and I’m constantly learning and growing in my knowledge and career. Getting to meet people and help them on some of their worst days is an absolute gift. You really have a chance to make a difference in pets’ and owners’ lives when you work in ER.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
Traveling to visit friends and family
What has been the most rewarding part of your career/position?
Getting to see the look on owners’ faces when their pet, who may have been in the hospital for several days, gets to take them home!

Listen more than you speak. You are seldom the most important or intelligent person in the room, and even so, everyone has something worthwhile to share.
