Why Emergency Medicine?
Emergency Medicine allows me to know a whole lot about a whole bunch of things. I can get quick fixes on surgical cases, tinker around with and fix really sick cases, see some cool things and never have the same night twice. I can take a client’s night from absolutely terrible to better and truly “help people and their pets when they need it most.” It allows me to be a hero.

Get To Know Me

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?

I’m happiest when I’m spending time with my family and horseback riding.

What has been the most rewarding part of your career?

Watching doctors and managers be brave and accomplish things they never thought they would be able to.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is:

Don’t wait for someone to give you an opportunity on a silver platter. Reach out and grab it.
