What an amazing staff. My sweet kitty was only in the Er for a short time, but the staff treated us with so much dignity and respect. We had to say goodbye to him that night. I received a beautiful card of sympathy signed by what seemed to be the entire staff. Grateful for the compassion and care given. 🙇🏻‍♀️

The team at VEG and Dr. Brown are simply saints. I have very seldomly needed to use emergency veterinary services in my lifetime of owning pets, but the few times that I have I have never received such compassionate and timely care the way that I saw today at VEG. Dr. Brown was incredibly professional, confident and Quickly made me feel like we had found the best hands to help! She made us so comfortable and was giving Much hope from the very beginning. Today I helped a young lady from a community Facebook page in Lafayette With a ride to help her kitty who was injured by an ex-boyfriend. We were turned away by multiple places before we found VEG. We called and explained the circumstances as soon as I pulled up the door is open And there were technicians there with open arms, greeting us rushing us in to assist. They immediately provided care. My eyes truly welled up with tears as this team helped this young lady and provided such top-notch treatment to the cat. They helped Her with a payment that fit her needs as best as they could, and Offered help with a ride home for the young lady I was helping so I could get to my daughter at the school. It was truly a situation of a group of strangers coming together to get this Sweet animal the care and compassion that She so deeply deserved in her dark hour. The whole experience was so uplifting for me and I’m so thankful for VEG. I know little miss kitty Gotham and her owner Are overwhelmed with gratitude as well. If you find yourself in an emergency situation, do not hesitate to rush to VEG.

I’m so grateful for the staff here! They took amazing care of my boy and helped put my wife and I at ease during a stressful time. Above and beyond barely begins to describe their knowledge and efforts. We were provided with several options for treatment, clear explanations of the options, and clear and upfront pricing. The layout of the ER makes it so you aren’t separated from your pet and can observe the exams, and treatments. We had to leave our dog with them over night, which is not something we wanted to do because he can be reactive and very anxious in shelters/boarding situations but Dr. Brown took fantastic care of him until he was released in the morning. Something that totally caught is off guard was they had already refunded part of our deposit for an intervention that didn’t work when we went to settle our bill. I can’t recommend VEG highly enough for emergency care of your pets.
