Dr. Kelly Ward and the entire staff at VEG were so kind, knowledgable, and supportive when I took my cat into their practice. The front door staff immediately took me to a private room and offered me drinks and snacks, the nurses were quick to come and take my cat's vitals and history, and the doctor was empathetic and focused when determining and explaining a plan of treatment. At every stage of the process there were always multiple people ready to explain everything and anything to me, and when I mentioned to the doctor that I ideally needed to leave within two hours unless there were complications, they made sure I was out the door in 30 minutes (thankfully my cat did not need additional inpatient care after testing was complete). They gave me the information of local primary vets to follow up with so I could save myself an additional emergency vet fee (I have only recently moved to the area and don't have a primary vet yet) and were very transparent about costs BEFORE my cat received treatment. I cannot recommend their practice more highly. Thank you to all that work at this location!! My Max is already appreciating their treatment.

VEG is amazing. They took amazing care of my 13 year old pin-pom mix. I've worked in the pet care industry for over a decade and they were by far one of the most amazing teams I've ever seen. Quick, compassionate, helpful and calm. My dog has IBD, a intestinal illness so when she decided to steal almost half of a triple cheese burger I was very scared what could happen. They helped us with out me feeling judged for my blunder as a pet parent and got her back to her self quickly and effectively. THANK YOU VEG!! you are amazing people!! Keep up the great work with such big hearts and kind smiles.

We had a very scary event with our senior dog Buster and I’m so thankful we took him to Veterinary Emergency Group! He’s been through a lot and has seen a lot of doctors, including quite a few emergency trips. Everyone was calm but urgent and very communicative, which helped ease my fear while they figured out what had happened and how to help our boy. Doctor Reiss had incredible bedside manner and calmly explained her diagnostic process as she examined our boy. The vet techs were so good at handling him when he was very nervous, and helped with my nervousness as well. At all times, I felt like my concerns were taken seriously and that he was thoroughly examined and treated with compassion. I was especially impressed with how they handled triage and ruled out our biggest fears immediately. Buster had previously gone through cancer, chemo, and an extended emergency stay without us being able to come into the room with him and I felt so grateful that I was able to be by his side the entire time we were at VEG. While I hope not to have emergencies that put us back here, I would not hesitate to bring our best boy back if he needs emergency care. I’m so thankful for everyone we encountered and felt comfortable bringing him home with the treatment plan. He is recovering well at home!
