To say that this clinic is amazing is an understatement. We woke up to our dog not being able to walk and, after calling to find our regular clinic booked for the day, I called the emergency clinic. I described what was going on with my dog and was connected to one of the vets who answered my questions, providing valuable information that led me to bring him in. I was sent a text link to check-in before our arrival, and we were taken to an exam table immediately after we arrived, with a tech and vet attending to us.The vet was honest and gentle in her evaluation about my dog’s prognosis and odds of recovery, which were grave, and we were given options for treatment. When I broached the subject of having him put down and not putting him through a long shot at recovery, the vet assured me and showed incredible compassion and empathy, telling me that no decision I made would be wrong. They provided short-term treatment (which began the moment we arrived) to keep my dog comfortable while my son and I finalized our decision. For those who don’t know, this is an “open concept” exam area, with the exam tables in a main area within sight of each other. While my dog was receiving treatment, an emergency came in with a non-responsive dog. The tech apologized to us and explained that she was going to have to excuse herself to assist. I have never witnessed a triage event like this. Every single tech and vet rushed to that table to save the dog. While I was focused on my own fur baby, I looked over on occasion and was simply awestruck. The effort put in, the communication between them, and seamless flow in which they worked together as a team in an emergency situation was incredible. I cried the entire time, from both my own situation and for the owner of the other dog, who did not make it. I wasn’t the only one in the room who shed tears, as I saw some of the techs do so as well. The tech and vet returned to us, and we let them know our decision, which was to put our beloved dog down and not prolong his suffering. We were taken to a room where we were able to say our goodbyes in private, and the vet came in to talk us through the process and administer the medications. It is always heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet, and I know many of us consider them a part of our family. This clinic truly understands that and, while our experience ended with having to say goodbye to our baby, words can not express how much I truly appreciate the exceptional level of care and compassion that I both experienced and witnessed here. My sole regret is that I was so emotional with our situation that I neglected to get the names of the techs and vets who cared for us and our fur baby. So I just want to say THANK YOU for taking such wonderful care of us and our sweet Buddy. You are all simply amazing at what you do.

I can’t say enough positive things about the team at VEG Fort Worth. Our mini dachshund was suddenly experiencing a scary allergic reaction, and from the moment we arrived, the staff sprang into action with professionalism, urgency, and genuine care. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our puppy was not only stabilized, but brought back to a healthy and comfortable condition. A huge shoutout to our technician, Kelsey, who was absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire process. She kept us fully informed on every step of the medical treatment plan, explained what was happening in terms we could understand, and constantly checked in on our puppy. What meant the world to us was how she didn’t just provide medical care—she also made sure our puppy felt calm and loved, sneaking in cuddles and affection whenever she could. That kind of compassion made all the difference in such a stressful moment. Dr. Chong was equally amazing. She was incredibly thorough, proactive, and aggressive in her treatment approach to ensure our puppy received the highest level of care possible. Her confidence and expertise immediately put us at ease, and it was clear she was committed to doing everything she could to help our pup recover quickly and safely. The facility itself is modern, clean, and truly top of the line. Everyone we encountered on the team was friendly, warm, and professional. I would fully and wholeheartedly recommend VEG Fort Worth to anyone facing an emergency with their pet. Respectfully, I hope I never have to visit them again—but if the need ever arises, I know without a doubt that we’ll be in the best hands possible.

This was by far the most hospitality I've have received, in any industry, ever. This was the GOLD standard for performance, hospitality, and service. Friday night, just got home from work around 6:30pm.I called with a mild concern of vomiting and blood in stool, Christian assured me that we could be helped right away and sent me an easy to fill out on the way intake/check in form, After taking to christian, he transferred me to the doctor (who allows you to talk to a doctor this quick for free). I showed up with my cat and my 7 year old, the front staff was easy and welcoming, the open concept of the building was awesome encouraging transparency and overall efficient. Dr.Summers helped checked our cat out (within literally 30 seconds of entering the front door). This was just wildly easy. After checking vitals and assuring us the cat is stable, Dr.Summers then proceeded to let my 7 year old use her stethoscope and listen to the cats heart, it wasn't a stunt to impress, it was genuine. they got my family a stool during the ultrasound so they could see and explain the screen, involved us in decisions and prepared us for costs and helped us manage the things we could and couldn't cut out. Great explanations, great service, great facility. all around it was great.
