Dr. Cox and Dr. Jachec, were amazing with my spicy baby. From walking in, the staff helped me right away and explained everything. I love the open concept and being with my baby every step of the way. They explained everything in detail and were always checking in on us. Even seeing how they handled other pets and their family needs was amazing. I can not express enough the gratitude I have for them being so understanding and compassionate. They stayed by her side when she spent the night with them and let me know if was able to stay overnight with her as well. They were just very wonderful. I would highly recommend them over any emergency vet in the area, and they let your primary know what's going on with your pet. Very passionate group of beings ❤️

I could not speak more highly about VEG Naperville! We live in Chicago but were walking our dog in the nearby forest preserves when she swallowed a carelessly discarded fishing lure with line still attached. We called VEG immediately and were able to speak to a vet and get checked in remotely while we rushed her in to the clinic. Once we arrived, we were immediately seen by a vet tech. The clinic has a big open floor plan, but the staff kindly accommodated our dog reactive pup with a private room. We saw the vet within minutes, and our dog got X-rays shortly thereafter, confirming our suspicion that she had also swallowed a fish hook. We were promptly counseled on our options, and when induced vomiting failed made the necessary decision to send our pup to surgery. Throughout the whole process, the staff was unbelievably kind and welcoming. They showered our dog with love and made sure that we humans were comfortable (with snacks, drinks, and even offering to make a bed for us if we wanted to stay the night) and able to participate in/observe our dog's care. Surgery ended up with the successful removal of the foreign body. The whole ordeal, from check-in to the end of surgery, only took around 6 or 7 hours, which we found very quick compared to past emergency vet visits. The staff let us spend as much time as we wanted with our dog post-op, and never made us feel like we were in the way; it was also so reassuring to see up close how much everyone on staff loved her and all of the other patients. Our dog was discharged the following morning with clear care instructions and is sleepy but recovering at home. The emergency vet is never fun, but VEG made it as comfortable and painless as possible for all of us. Thank you so much to the entire wonderful team!

Our lovely Boxer girl, Libby, collapsed on Valentine’s Day. My husband drove her to VEG and it would not have been possible to get better care. Their empathy and compassion for both Libby and us was boundless. They were very honest (in an appropriate way) about the nature of her collapse and the very limited treatment options (which we soon exhausted). We had to let Libby go but the manner of her exit was gently and calmly facilitated by the staff. They made a dreadful situation bearable. Can’t recommend them enough .
