Although my first impression and experience at VEG was a heartbreaking and painful one, I am seriously impressed by the staff and their care for our pets and us. We sadly had to make the decision to put our beloved cat down and the care and treatment we received was beyond thoughtful. We were given as much time as we needed and a private room with no harsh lighting, instead some fairy lights, a cozy couch and anything we may need. The doctor and her staff were incredible. We were very happy that every step of the procedure was explained to us and that things were moving at our pace, no rushing, no stress. We got paw and nose prints, fur clippings and a private cremation for him, which was overall reasonably priced as it is still an emergency clinic. We were able to pick up his urn after just a couple of days. Thank you again to everyone at VEG, though I hope I won’t have to come back, I would always choose to go to VEG to get professional care for my pets.

On April 5th I had an emergency after coming home from lunch with my family and my dog was not his usual self. By then my regular vet’s office closed and was directed to VEG through their voicemail. I was able to find one much closer to me which was Clifton and I’m so glad I did! I arrived and within a minute I was directed to a tech who asked about my dog’s condition. Quickly after two other techs and a vet came to do a physical on my dog. I watched them work on him, being gentle while handling him as he was visibly stressed and in pain. After the physical I was informed that he would need an MRI due to abdominal swelling and they didn’t waste a second. Dr. Kim was assigned to his case and she was friendly, kind, and gentle to my dog during it. She listened to my concerns and gave me honest answers. The entire staff was great. I had to wait some time but that was because of things like a physical, MRI, bloodwork, in house treatment, etc. this facility is amazing! If you’re in need of an after hours vet I definitely recommend VEG and Dr.Kim.

We have taken both our cat and dog there on numerous occasions for various reasons. My cat went there for a ruptured gland and eye infection. My dog went there for getting bit by a dog, eating a cat toy, possible ear infection and broken dew claw. So over that time we have seen various veterinarians. Nothing but positive experiences with all the staff. Their #1 priority is their pet patients and NOT money. They genuinely care about the pets and do whats right to help them.
