Dr. Futterman has been practicing Emergency Medicine since graduating in 2011. She has a passion for teaching emergency medicine and surgery, as well as communication and relationship building with the community and local veterinarians. Dr. Futterman was the recipient of "2018 Veterinarian of the Year Award" from the ASPCA in recognition of her dedication to critical care for animal cruelty victims. When not working, Dr Futterman enjoys exploring nature and traveling with her husband, two children, and Turbo, her rescue Pittie.
