Dr. Jordyn Dehaan was the kindest, most patient vet I have ever experienced. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained my pets needs in a way I can understand aiding in my decisions that would benefit my pet. I was blown away by the kindness of the staff from the second I walked in with my daughter and our emergency. I felt seen, heard and respected. I will recommend her and VEG Paramus to all my clients across Bergen County. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving our cat.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here and would recommend to others in need of ER services for their dog. We had two visits in a week, and both doctors Zaman and Bandura were great. They really seemed to be thoughtful and thorough in trying to diagnose the problem and taking a complete view and analysis of everything. I wish more doctors for humans would take this approach. Communication was good and very transparent. Of course cost will always be high when visiting an ER but they were very sensitive to that and took steps to keep costs down where possible. The ultrasound specialist (I think her name was Janine) was also both compassionate and knowledgeable. Everyone here really seems like they care and also have the skills to diagnose and treat issues. I also appreciate the ability to speak to a doctor before making the trip to the ER as well as the ability to speak with a doctor afterward in follow up. Finally, I appreciate that the space itself is clean and not too stressful. I have visited animal hospitals in the past where the environment itself is stress-inducing but VEG Paramus has a calm, clean environment. I hope not to have to use ER services for my dog very often but would return here if needed.

I can’t thank the entire team at VEG Paramus enough for the incredible care they provided for my dog during one of the most difficult experiences we’ve ever faced. My dog needed emergency surgery to remove a skewer that had punctured her small intestine, which led to severe complications. It was an extremely scary and emotional situation, but the compassion, expertise, and dedication shown by everyone at the hospital made all the difference. Dr. DeHaan and Director Kanwar went above and beyond to ensure my dog received the best possible care. They explained every step of the process in detail, kept me informed throughout, and handled a very complex surgery with remarkable skill. I’m beyond grateful for their expertise and commitment to saving her life. The nursing staff, especially Sam, Kylie, and Jesse, were absolutely amazing. Their kindness, patience, and attentive care made my dog feel comfortable and loved during her recovery. They treated her like their own and kept me reassured by providing updates and answering all my questions with compassion and understanding. Thanks to this exceptional team, my dog not only made it through the surgery but is now on her way to a healthy recovery. I am forever grateful for the care, professionalism, and genuine love they showed both to my dog and to me during such a stressful time.
