Dr. Pansy Suzuki

Medical Director

VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine

After graduating in 2007, Dr. Suzuki started her vet med career in GP/urgent care, practicing in cities around the U.S. and abroad. Outside of work, she prioritizes her family and is a mother of 2 girls and two fur babies. Shei enjoys quality time with loved ones, working out, and going for a run anywhere she travels!

We had a fantastic experience with VEG. Our dog grabbed a box of chocolates intended as a gift and wolfed them down. We felt it prudent to go in for a consultation. The VEG team was sympathetic to our dog’s fears of vets, and kept us well informed of options and process. We very much hope not to return but are very happy knowing they are so close by in case misfortune strikes again.

I had to bring my 74 lb lab mix in after he ate way too many glucosamine treats. We were greeted by the entire staff right away. We worked with Dr. Hartson and Dr. Yeepun - they and the rest of the folks made me and my dog feel very comfortable during a very stressful time. If your dog might have poisoning it’s good to call the ASPCA in advance and have the case ID handy - the vets got on the phone with them right away. It might feel a little jarring to be in the hospital for the first as you’re in the triage area but overall it’s actually very helpful to see the staff in action. While there, a difficult pet situation came in and I really appreciated seeing Dr. Yeepun’s compassion in action. While I hope we never have to come here again - it’s for emergencies after all! - I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my dog back here. Kudos to the whole staff and yes my big guy is fine! Day 1 and Day 2 - a huge difference

My best cat, Mr. Mittens the Kittens (“Mittens”) passed away suddenly with no explanation. I was shocked and completely crashed out over the phone trying to figure out what to do. Jess was a complete angel. She was incredibly compassionate over the phone and when I got to the clinic. She sat when me and Mittens for a long, long time and comforted me and hugged me while I sobbed uncontrollably. She was an absolute angel and full of empathy. I hope I never have to go to this place again but if tragedy strikes twice, I hope Jess is there.
