Why Emergency Medicine:
I love the fast pace, unpredictability of cases, and challenges that working in emergency medicine brings to me as a doctor.  There is no better feeling than stabilizing a critical patient and seeing the pet go home to their family.

Get to know me

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be:
I’m a working mom with two young children, so I consider myself a superhero already.  If I had to choose something else, I would choose time travel… To make more hours in the day!

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
I’m happiest when I’m spending time with my husband and my kids, preferably doing something outside like hiking or exploring.

What has been the most rewarding part of your career/position?
The most rewarding part of my position is mentoring newer doctors and watching them develop new skills or perform procedures or surgeries that they haven’t done yet.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is:
You will be remembered more for your kindness than any level of success you could possibly attain.
