A Florida native who grew up in Orlando, Dr. Merritt started her career as part of VEG’s New ER Doctor (NERD) program, practicing in VEG North Tampa and VEG South Tampa. She completed her MDA and found a love for campus partnership. Excited to bring VEG back “home” to the Orlando market, Dr. Merritt provides medical excellence while fostering an unparalleled care experience to patients and customers. Special interests: emergency medicine, critical care, endoscopy, exotics, and mentoring others. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking national parks, and spending time with her Mini Australian Shepherd Winnie, her Mini Goldendoodle Remi, and her cat Louie!
